SCIE National SAR library

SCIE National SAR library

Safeguarding Adults Reviews (SARs) are a statutory requirement for Safeguarding Adults Boards (SABs). They can identify what is helping and what is hindering safeguarding work in order to tackle barriers to good practice.

Commissioned by the Department of Health, the SAR library is being developed jointly by Research in Practice for Adults (RiPfA) and the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE), working closely with colleagues from the sector. It will contain reports and associated resources to support those involved in commissioning who are conducting and quality assuring SARs.
