Real Solutions. Real Lives.

Real Solutions. Real Lives.

18 October 2018, EY Canary Wharf, London

For several years Directors of Adult Social Services have told us that the demand for support across learning disability services is increasing. People with learning disabilities are telling us that they want to have full lives, relationships and an opportunity to use their assets and strengths in our communities.

This event focuses on best practice nationally, and is supported by people who have a learning disability and a range of organisations demonstrating innovation and inclusive approaches. We will look at how real relationships, real jobs and real community involvement can support greater independence.

Alder will be focusing on the progression model and how care management can be shaped to support greater personal growth . Our sponsors EY, Avail and Autonome will be supporting debate and discussion and sharing their expertise.

Gavin Harding (MBE), town councillor and former mayor of Selby will also be supporting this showcase of best practice.

We hope that Directors, Assistant Directors and Commissioners of learning disability services can join us at this free event.
