Healthy London Partnership on behalf of the London Workforce Board is hosting a workforce diversity and inclusion event, focusing on BME representation in health and social care. With the introduction of NHS WRES, the release of the Interim NHS People Plan, and a recent roundtable discussion convened by Skills for Care, awareness and progress is being made on this matter. But we still have a long way to go, particularly with BME representation at senior level, and encouraging an inclusive workforce culture.

This event will be an opportunity to understand the matter from a London perspective, looking at the commonalities and differences between health and social care, share key challenges and best practice, and hear from leaders working to make the health and care system more inclusive. We’re delighted to have guest speakers including John Brouder (NHS England) and Munira Thobani (Board member of Skills for Care).

This event will be of particular interest to those who lead on health and/or social care workforce in London STPs and CCGs, NHS Trusts, London local authorities, Skills for Care, Skills for Health, Health Education England, NHS England & Improvement, and the Greater London Authority.
