The ADASS Learning Disability Network, kindly sponsored by EY, Avail support, and Autonome are running a free seminar day. This event will focus on how people who have a learning disability can get the right support to live more independently in our communities. There will be a strong focus on relationships and natural supports, use of technology, the progression model and asset based approaches. We will be exploring how creative solutions can help people gain greater independence and full lives.
There will also be an opportunity for discussion, considering the current challenges and solutions. This event is for all ADASS members who want to see positive ways to influence the future for people who have a learning disability. This is free to attend, and open to all ADASS members, Assistant Directors, and Commissioners of learning disability services.
