The fieldwork period for councils to send out the questionnaires is expected to be during October and November this year, with materials made available in advance of this.
At the moment HSCIC have not confirmed the date for the publication of the Personal Social Services Survey of Adult Carers in England 2016-17 next year; but once this has been scheduled you should be able to find it using the following page on the HSCIC website: https://www.hscic.gov.uk/pubs/calendar
